Entrepreneurial education needs to be completed by a willing partner in local government that is committed to the success of small businesses. This presentation will cover how Westchester Community College used $50,000 from the federal stimulus to jumpstart an entrepreneurial environment in Westchester County to convert displaced workers into components of an economic engine. We will cover how to liaison with chambers of commerce as well as offices of economic development towards initiatives that leads to economic growth for small businesses.
