This lecture will review recommendations for the performance of a thorough pediatric examination that includes anomalies, pathology, and various soft-tissue presentations. Specific treatment recommendations for eruption disturbances, mandibular incisor crowding, space maintainers, parafunctional habits, and minor interceptive orthodontic treatment will be discussed.
