Writing is hard. Writing is painful. Writing is boring. That?s bullshit. I don?t know about you, but anticipating a stressful and frustrating experience has never motivated me to do it. As a neurodivergent writer, it has taken me a decade of writing and teaching writing to figure out how writing can and should be fun and engaging. Now I?m committed to sharing these learnings. In this interactive workshop, I'll show you tried-and-true hypnotic writing exercises and trances that create fun and easy transitions into writing, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, or content for your business. We'll be doing these together, so you'll get to experience them for yourself and figure out which ones you like most. We'll also have a Q+A at the end. We will explore: * Why people get stuck even before they begin writing?and how to come up with an effective hypnotic pre-writing ritual * How fun is the key to writing more and increasing the quality of your work * Hypnotic, dopamine-creating writing exercises that stimulate the language centers of your brain and how to modify them for yourself (demo). * Trances that light up your brain circuitry, allowing you to access your voice, authority, and knowledge of a topic (demo). This workshop is relevant to you whether you are an absolute beginner or have written for years. We could all use more fun and ease in the writing process. Bring something to write with and something to write on. And if you forget, don't worry, I'll bring extra pens and paper.
