In 2017, Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) engaged in a partnership with Press Ganey Transformational Advisory Services to develop and implement a cultural alignment strategy. As a newly formed health system, MSHS needed a robust strategy that leveraged its unique hospital cultures to support enhanced patient and staff experience. MSHS aimed to improve care delivery to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality care in an environment where patients feel cared for during every encounter. The integration of safety, quality, and experience of care would become the driving principle behind the cultural alignment work. This session?s presenters will share their experience embarking on a health system cultural alignment journey.
