In British and Irish history, the names Pankhurst, Sheehy-Skeffington, and Fawcett are synonymous with the suffrage movement, but we must not overlook the people who participated in demonstrations and riots to achieve female suffrage. This talk will explore the records of the suffrage movement from The National Archives in London, reports of suffrage demonstrations in the British and Irish newspapers, and identify other sources.
