Jewishdata.com is one of the largest professional databases in the world. It contains close to a million records from around the world. The presentation will demonstrate the ease of checking the database, along with some tricks to gain the most from this resource. The collection includes hundreds of complete Jewish cemeteries around the world, with a listing and linked image of every monument. Many immigration documents called Declaration of Intention, and a number of information-rich books are included in the database. Users will also learn how to add their own records as another way to preserve family records. This database has been open free of charge to conference attendees in the resource room for a number of years and is again for this conference.
