The Jewish Community of Miroslav, Czechoslovakia was a quiet, modest and very typical community prior to the annexation of the Sudetenland in 1938. With very little warning, the community of some 400 people fled in every direction, but few escaped the net the Nazis had tightened around Czechoslovakia. Using a variety of resources, I set out to trace what happened to them. Along the way, I reunited shattered families, found unexpected treasures, and solved a few mysteries.
