The panel aims to review further avenues of research that explore the creation of additional databases, as well as making accesssible further historical background relating to the people and places of Latvia, before and after World War II. The panelists have each been passionately involved in Latvian genaelogy for more than two decades and have all visited Latvia on many occasions. Their research has not been limited to Latvian archival sources but have also included material from other databases that shed light on their Latvian descendants.
