This course will help attendees to develop a basic understanding of extraction principles that help to place implants immediately. Review complications that prevent immediate placement and determine when, how, and why to place different types of socket grafting materials. Dental extractions can be easy or difficult depending on experience and technique. Maintaining socket walls increases the ability to place immediate dental implants in a predictable manner. The instructor will review extraction techniques and discuss when and why to graft. Types and techniques of socket grafting will also be demonstrated.
