Our patients all want the same thing: better health. And today, they are seeking us out because they’ve come to understand that better nutrition is a key to better health; and integrative practitioners believe that, practice that, and have invested to learn what better nutrition is. You know what better nutrition is ? but often it is challenging to deliver that information to patients with the tools that help them implement your recommendations. As a dietitian, I believe that better nutrition is simple, it just doesn’t typically seem that way. I created the Better Nutrition Simplified program (which fits onto a one page PDF ? see it IS simple) to be that tool kit for you and all my colleagues who recognize that it isn’t nutrition knowledge that we need more of but rather a way for our patients to reduce and prioritize the information they receive as well as implementation strategies they need to actually do what we recommend. This session will review better nutrition, quickly, then provide case study examples chock full of tips to help you help your patients implement better nutrition, simplified. It’s great to be Paleo or Vegan or even Pegan, but at the core of it all, better nutrition needs to be simple so that patients can do what we know is a critical step towards helping heal or maintain their better health.
