This session will present the findings of a research project that investigated factors contributing to major fires involving multifamily buildings under construction, including deficiencies identified in current fire-safety practices and programs. Included will be a discussion of best practices that can be implemented by code enforcers, insurers, developers, contractors, and emergency responders to reduce the risk and magnitude of future losses.
