In December 2013, the Fire Protection Research Foundation hosted a workshop that investigated the relative effectiveness of NFPA 25 with respect to improving the reliability of automatic sprinkler systems. Given the results of the Workshop, the NFPA Technical Committee responsible for NFPA 25 decided to undertake several projects, subsequently developing several First Revisions to the standard. This session will provide an update of potential changes to NFPA 25 resulting from the Workshop, Public Input, and other revisions determined appropriate by the Committee. Note: the session will occur after the Public Comment submission deadline, but will be before the Second Draft Meeting.
