Fire brigades continue to play an intergal role in facility fire protection--a role that continues to evolve in a changing and challenging economic environment. Fire brigades are taking a more acitive role in loss prevention as well as manual fire suppression. This presentation will provide an overview of NFPA 600 and discuss some of the challenges facing the committee as it works to ensure the standard both evolves with the economic climate and addresses the implementation needs of fire brigades. The session will feature a panel including committee task force leaders, an NFPA staff liason, and a representative from the pro-qual board.
