Managing the behavior of a patient can improve the patient?s experience with dental care. Reducing anxiety and providing minimal or moderate sedation can turn dental phobic patients into compliant patients. Based upon current ADA, AAPD and AAOS guidelines, Dr. Sims will review the pharmacologic options and provide recommendations for minimal and moderate sedation.
