Rapid hypnoanalysis has gained traction as a technique for discovery and treatment of many areas of psychology. This workshop will demonstrate how to fit the technique of hypnoanalysis in a busy family practice. Hypnosis can aid in the diagnosis of vexing medical conditions including through helping to identify patients whose primary diagnosis falls across the medical-psychology divide towards mind rather than body. Although this workshop is designed for primary care providers, the principles taught will lend themselves well to mental health providers wishing to enhance their efficiency of care and dentists who care for vexing dental issues.
After this workshop the participants should have a new appreciation for psychosomatic illnesses that present as medical issues in the mind of the patient. The learners will see that the great divide of mind and body is not so great and in fact is a mere footbridge. Demonstration of technique will be presented.
