We think of PMS as hormonal challenge and strive to address the resulting symptoms for those who suffer. However, most women, regardless of seeking help for PMS, experience the impact of hormonal change on their digestion, for a few days at least each month. It's this impact that makes PMS one of the main reasons our patients "fall off" their health plan. Whether it's bloating or fatigue, carb cravings or an inability to feel sated, or emotional swings, these physiologic symptoms resulting from the impact of hormonal changes on digestion challenge a woman to stay with your recommendations. For years, Koff has worked with women to support them with nutrition and supplemental nutrition efforts during this time. Today she will share it with you so you too can help your female patients of all ages overcome this monthly challenge to sustaining behaviors that enable them to achieve their better health goals.
