A beautiful tile or stone installation in a kitchen or bathroom starts first with good building practices and a sensible design. While natural stone and ceramic tile are outstanding products for these areas, there are many considerations that need to be addressed in order to achieve long term success. The importance of proper material selection for showers, steam rooms, kitchen counters and more will be discussed. We will also explore substrate preparation, movement accommodation, and moisture management.
