Neville Lamdan
Since its opening in 2006, the International Institute for Jewish Genealogy (IIJG) has presented regular progress reports to IAJGS Conferences. This year its Chair, Dr. Neville Lamdan, will address IIJG?s vision and will discuss possible areas for collaboration with IAJGS. Thus far, IIJG has made tangible progress towards achieving its primary goal of advancing the status of Jewish genealogy at the academic level, principally through research and teaching. Neville Lamdan was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 IAJGS Conference in Boston for establishing the IIJG and for directing it from 2006 to 2013.
