Health-conscious consumers are faced with the challenge of limiting sugary drinks in the midst of concerns over artificial sweeteners and “empty” liquid calories, while at the same time leading busy, stressful lives. This translates to an opportunity to provide healthier beverages which help modulate mood and daily energy levels through the inclusion of bioactives. This talk will take a closer look at the neurobiology and marketing of mood beverages.
