With the growth and increased popularity of marble, understanding the characteristics of the stone, how to properly install it and care for it have never been more important to prevent unnecessary failures and insure success and satisfied clients. This workshop will focus on the geology and practical characteristics of the stone followed by an in-depth discussion on what you need to know and consider for installation in several applications including floors, walls and counter tops with an emphasis on large format tile. Finally, we will focus on how to properly protect and maintain marble in those applications to assure years of function and satisfaction.
