The role of mediation and mediators in the Collaborative process deserves another look. Like an orchestra conductor, a mediator can call on the strengths of the Collaborative advocates, neutrals and mental health professionals to wrest harmony out of the confusion and chaos of a high conflict/complex Collaborative case. The Collaborative process should be a mediator's paradise with all the available tools at their disposal. This workshop will discuss when and how bringing a mediator to the Collaborative table will both make sense and be an efficient use of resources.
