The Language of Comfort: Hypnotic Strategies in Palliative Care

Historically, experts in the field have developed hypnotic theoretical framework and strategies that we use routinely in cancer supportive care. This workshop will focus on how the palliative care practitioner should adapt these classical hypnotic approaches and purposefully adjust language to the unique physical challenges, psychological demands, grieving processes and often resilience of the human being facing illness progression and ultimately the end of his/her life.
