Description:
How often have you had a patient who needs one or two teeth moved into alignment? What about the adult patient who wants only the teeth in the smile zone addressed, and they have no interest in going into brackets and wires? Over 70% of adult patients have some form of minor malalignment of the anterior teeth which creates a high demand to satisfy their needs for improved dental esthetics. This course teaches the steps necessary in patient selection, diagnosis, appliance fabrication and treatment protocol. In addition, the concepts of space creation using cosmetic tooth recontouring will be discussed. The knowledge gained from this course will also enable the general dentist to reposition teeth prior to restorative and prosthetic treatment.

Participants will be able to:
- Identify patient selection for minor tooth movement
- Understand diagnosing and treatment planning
- Design and fabricate the appliance
- Learn how to activate and reactivate the appliance
