This course will help you understand collision industry-specific on-line and local eLearning tools from a variety of sources. Real-world examples of how the tools can be applied to learning administrative and various production processes will be demonstrated. Learn how your audio instructions, vendor provided videos, screen captures from estimating and management systems and documents can be integrated into these tools. The discussion will include how visual tools such as quality standards and standard work instructions can be provided at point-of-use of the eLearning message and how eLearning checks (review & quiz) assure learning is further reinforced.


Dick Elder

Dick Elder is President and co-founder of TEAM Marketing Group, Inc. His experience in the field of sales and management training encompasses more than 35 years, enabling him to address the training needs of a variety of industries, companies and multi-national corporations. For the past 28 years, Elder has overseen the multi-project efforts of the firm. His activities include field research, sales and management consulting, sales process formulation, computer-based sales tool development, video production, and seminar/workshop development and delivery. Through an extensive speaking and workshop schedule, he represents TEAM within the training industry. Also, as a continuing avocation, he keynotes and delivers workshops for many local, state and national organizations. Elder has over 20 years experience in sales, product training and management training for a wide range of companies within the collision industry. He works with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, collision center owners, management teams and sales organizations throughout North America. Before forming TEAM in 1983, Elder served as Senior Vice President of American Salesmasters, Inc., a recognized leader in audio/visual training programs. During his nine years with the company, he held management positions in both Europe and several U.S. offices. Elder holds a B.A. degree in Social Science from San Diego State University and lives in Littleton, CO with his wife Terri. They have four grown children.


Steve Trapp

Steve Trapp is the Collision Services Development Manager for DuPont. Steve's background includes working in his families small collision center, followed by experience with 3M Automotive Aftermarket in ARM$ and in Product Marketing. He developed and managed a competitive value-added program. He also has been the Vice President of Integration, Training and Purchasing for ABRA Auto Body and Glass where he led the integration of 40+ acquisitions and used Six Sigma methods to implement a management and financial system. In his present role he has developed over 30 training programs and manages all shop facing services activities for DuPont.
