NFPA 25 has specific requirements for weekly and annual fire pump testing. Are you or your contractor conducting the required tests as intended? This seminar will review the do's and don'ts of fire pump testing including: weekly and annual testing, the proper use and setup of fire pump test equipment and procedures, safety concerns, etc. You will learn how to evaluate annual fire pump test results including graphing and analyzing the pump and electric motor performance. Fire pump controllers will be reviewed including the testing required if an emergency generator is connected to the fire pump. The effect of a pressure relief valve on test results and when it should be taken out of service during a test will be also discussed.
