The 2012 NFPA 101®: Life Safety Code® will be up for NFPA membership consideration at the 2011 NFPA Conference & Expo. There is a reasonable chance that The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission might adopt the 2012 edition of the code. This session will examine additions and changes to the code from 2000 to 2012 that affect the health care setting (primarily hospitals and nursing homes).
