This is an advanced water chemistry class that will take an in depth look at primary (chlorine , bromine, biguanide and metal systems) and secondary (UV and ozone) sanitizers for ongoing and remedial treatment of pools.? The discussion will include factors that affect the efficacy of sanitizers and the potential for disinfection byproducts.? Current standard and code requirements will be presented.
