Physician engagement is crucial for a successful High Reliability journey. In this session, leaders with The Valley Hospital will outline how they engaged physicians through credentialing and mandatory High Reliability Organizing (HRO) training for the entire medical staff. Attendees will learn how the Valley team is changing conversations throughout Valley Health System by supporting nurses and other colleagues during challenging interactions with physicians, and how these efforts are increasing error reporting, reducing harm, and breaking barriers of power distance.
