A goal at MD Anderson Cancer Center is to develop and sustain a highly reliable, patient-centered, value-driven culture in an integrated setting that engages patients, caregivers, and colleagues to deliver safe, courteous, accountable, efficient, and innovative care. During this session, speakers will discuss how they are working toward this goal by using patient experience insights and reports to highlight the importance of the patient experience and recognizing high-performing providers to help model behaviors. They will also share how they overcame physician objections and created buy-in by engaging physician leaders and educating staff on the importance of the patient experience.
