Attend this session to learn about the development of Geisinger Health System?s new provider scorecard and comprehensive provider performance improvement program, which address the connected issues of provider patient experience and communication scores and patient access. The presenters will explain how they developed the scorecard, which uses mean scores, percentiles, and the distribution of ?very poor? and ?poor? scores to classify providers as ?blue, green, yellow, or red.? They will also discuss how their comprehensive approach recognizes and celebrates successes, trains and coaches providers needing improvement, understands and mitigates burnout in high-performing providers, and addresses true outliers.
