Like many hospital systems, Mission Health System was focused on patient experience but did not have a tool that provided real-time insight. Patient rounds were inconsistent and recorded using paper forms, making it difficult to identify trends and improvement opportunities through data. In this session, attendees will learn how the data transparency of the iRound tool strengthened accountability at Mission Health, how a focus on patient experience was expanded to include safety and engagement, and how iRound facilitated a culture change across the system that led to a decrease in grievances and an increase in HCAHPS scores.
