This session will feature the Carolina Care? Model developed at UNC Hospitals to enhance the patient and family experience by transforming cultural norms. Presenters will provide an overview of the development, implementation, evaluation and branding of Carolina Care? across the continuum of care within an AMC. The model has been adopted across the eight-hospital UNC Health Care system throughout North Carolina and has resulted in a substantive improvement in patient experience as measured by HCAHPS and Press Ganey scores.
