Genealogists accumulate vast amounts of data, sometimes confusing or contradictory. It is difficult to process and separate wheat from chaff. Entry of information into a genealogy program or database is simply not enough. We need creative ways in which to evaluate our data and present it in a cogent format. One effective tool is "charting." Using visual displays, records and dates can be viewed and evaluated and most importantly ranked by their strength. In this session, we will present "charting" and demonstrate its value for record evaluation and display.
