There lots of different kinds of the documentation at the Ukrainian archives which can be used as a source for the Jewish Genealogical Research: - Metrical books (Perish registers): rabinate's records of Births, Deaths and Marriages; - Different kinds of Census Tales 1795-1900; - Jewish Population Census 1875; - Russian Empire Population Census 1897; - Police, recruites (army), kahal and Pogrom funds; - etc. All of these documents have its own unique features and present the Genealogy information in different ways. The main goal of the presentation is to present each of it and describe how to use it in the researches (including photo-copies exaples) Also, these documents have different availability among the Ukraine archives and sometimes it contradicts to the official information about it. The unique and the latest information regarding the availability will be uncovered.
