The Raduraksti records placed online by the Latvian State Archives provided a treasure trove for genealogist and substantially augmented the data on the JewishGen website. The translation of the records was undertaken by Christine Usdin with unstinting devotion. While volunteers provided some assistance with translations, graphic material and support, in different ways, her sudden death brought most of that incredible project to an end. Her invaluable endeavour has to continue and further translation, of available material not on the Raduraksti, must also be researched and translated and placed in readily accessible format. The talk will present a program for continuance of this invaluable work and continue making it available to family researchers of Latvian ancestry.
