This course will present cost comparisons and analysis of utilizing guardrail systems and personal fall arrest into jobs on commercial, low slope roofs in lieu of effective safety monitoring. Advancements in technology regarding multi-purpose guardrail systems, mobile fall carts, anchors, and horizontal lifeline systems are now providing reasonable and cost effective means of risk reduction in the roofing industry. In addition, accident fall statistics in the roofing industry will be presented.? Presentation is intermediate level and 100% commercial.
