Rick Birkman, President, Texas Roofing Company of Austin, is a third generation roofing contractor and has been in the industry since 1976. He worked in various segments of the roofing industry including material supply, consulting and contracting until assuming control of the family business, Texas Roofing Company, in 1994. Texas Roofing Company was founded by his grandfather in Lubbock, Texas in 1935. In 1995, Rick opened Texas Roofing Company of Austin. The company specializes in commercial work and currently has approximately 49 employees and 8 million in annual sales. Rick is a past board member of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas and was the President of the Association in 1997-1998. In 2002, Rick received the association's highest honor, the Curtis Blackwell Award, for outstanding service to the roofing industry. Additionally, Rick was on the NRCA board from 2001 to 2004. He has served the NRCA in several capacities including as a member of the Low Slope, Manual Update and Governmental Relations Committees. Rick also served on the MRCA board from 2004-2009 and chaired the Business Management Committee. Rick currently serves on the MRCA's Technical & Research Committee.

Steve Little, President, KPost Company, helped found the company in 2003 as part of the senior management team, Steve is responsible for all day-to-day management of the company, including insurance, banking, customer and vendor relations, sales and marketing and representing KPost to the industry associations. KPost is current ranked in the top 25 of all roofing contractors nationwide and has earned numerous regional and national awards for safety and quality as ranks as a top 100 places to work. In 2005, Steve founded National Roofing Partners (NRP), a nation-wide partnership of professional roofing contractors. NRP members share in regional and national work orders, group purchasing contracts and collaborate to establish best business procedures which often become industry standards. NRP member companies have a national footprint of over 125 locations with more than $1 Billion in annual collective revenue. Steve is the CEO and chair of the NRP Executive Committee and in the chairs as VP of Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) becoming President in 2014. Steve holds membership in the National Association of Roofing Contractors (NRCA), The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress, TEXO (AGC & ABC joint venture in DFW), International Risk Managers Institute (IRMI) and Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA). Prior to KPost, Steve worked with Keith Post as his VP of Business at SSI.
Christian Madsen, President, CEO and generation owner of Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc., located in Sacramento, California; has focused on providing high quality roofing solutions for its customers, with a particular emphasis on difficult and unique projects which require the personalized attention to detail that can only be provided when upper management is involved in all project aspects. Christian serves on the Boards of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Roofing Contractors Association of California. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Western States Roofing Contractors Association. During his time on the WSRCA Board, Christian served on the Executive Committee, as Senior Vice President and as President. Christian was raised in Southern California, where began his roofing career at 13. He moved to Sacramento in 1987 to help his father organize Madsen. He has remained with the company since its formation. Christian has worked in the field as a journeyman roofer, a foreman and the construction superintendent. He then transitioned to estimating, project management and executive leadership roles.
Ronnie McGlothlin, Founder and Partner, Empire Roofing, is responsible for the production of the company; he personally checks all of the jobs to ensure Empire is living up to their reputation and name. Quality and appearance of the roof are standards he is not going to compromise. Ronnie has been in the roofing industry since 1974, having over 35 years of experience specializing in commercial roofing. He began roofing with his family business working as a laborer, foreman and superintendent. He feels giving back to the community is key to running a successful business, always treating people the way you would like to be treated. Ronnie has been involved in several community service projects such as donating and replacing the roof for All Saints Catholic School, VSA (in his home town of Albuquerque New Mexico) and has helped in several habitat for Humanity projects.
Rod Petrick, President, Ridgeworth Roofing, has been involved in the family business since 1975 starting as a Roofers Local #11 apprentice and working his way from the roof to his current position as President. Rod is a Past President of the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association. He has also been a member of the CRCA Technical and Industry Affairs Committee. He worked with the Roofing Industry Alliance to negotiate with the City of Chicago an amendment to the roof reflectivity required in the new building code. Rod is a Past President of the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association. He has been involved with the MRCA as a director from 1998 through 2000 working on various committees, and a Technical and Research Committee member since 2001. Currently he is the MRCA Foundation Co Chairmen. He is also involved with the National Roofing Contractors Association as past CERTA Task Force Chairman and committee member. This task force works directly with CNA Insurance on roof installation procedures as it relates to torch usage on the roof. He has also previously served on the Labor Management Committee for the NRCA. Most recently Rod has been involved in the negotiations with the City of Chicago as they prepared to update the current Energy Code Requirements. Rod & Bill McHugh are working with various departments within the City of Chicago to gain e-based permitting for all CRCA members. He currently is on the State of Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulation Roofers Advisory Council, NRCA Technical Committee, CRCA Labor Management Committee, CRC A&R Committee and International Union Labor Management Committee.
