Theology of Limits, Boundaries and Sacrifice

One of the challenges people working in underserved communities have over the long-term is dealing with the reality of burnout that often results from ignoring human limits in the face of unlimited needs. This workshop will provide a framework for considering issues such as:

• the difference between self-care and selfishness
• the difference between "taking care of" and "caring for" others
• the spiritual practice of acknowledging our human needs
• the spiritual practice of asking for help
• the spiritual practice of grieving
