Rick Donlon
Co-Founder and Associate Executive Director, Christ Community Health Services, Memphis, TN. After earning his MD at Louisiana State University and completing an Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. Donlon and three med school classmates founded Christ Community Health Services (CCHS) in 1995. CCHS operates health centers in six of the most medically underserved neighborhoods in Memphis, as well as a mobile clinic serving the homeless. CCHS provides primary care, obstetrics, dental and pharmacy services, and runs a family medicine residency program. Over 40 providers provided care for 120,000+ patient visits and delivered more than 1000 babies last year. CCHS regularly sends medical teams to do long-term medical service to a number of closed countries. Dr. Donlon is a church planter, a pioneer in Christian healthcare, and a nationally recognized speaker on Christian mission medicine and healthcare for the medically underserved. Rick, his wife, Laurie, and their seven children live, work, church and serve in an inner-city neighborhood in Memphis called Binghampton.
