Estimates suggest that clinical services account for only a sobering 10%-15% of the factors contributing to health. The percent is arguably higher in integrative practices that focus on lifestyle change, still more significant are such determinants such as education, environment, economics, and opportunity ? factors often associated with one’s zip code. Leaders seeking to shift the medical industry toward a system focused on health are working to forge strong connections between clinical practices and communities. How can we build Blue Zones ? places where people live longer, healthier lives ? around integrative practices? This leading edge of the health creation movement is the subject of this panel. The stage will be set via examination of data and forces provoking this focus. The session core will shift to an exploration of how integrative health and medicine leaders are working to optimize this critical community health intersection to, as one participant has put it, advance an integrative approach to community, health and wellbeing.Learning Objectives:
