The most common benign bladder conditions with patients include: Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Symptom(IC/PBS), Overactive Bladder (OAB) and urinary incontinence (UI). These three conditions have a significant negative impact on the quality of life of patients who suffer from them. IC/PBS symptomology, in particular, is akin to crohn's and advanced kidney disease. While OAB and urinary incontinence is usually not connected to non-urological diseases, IC/PBS usually comes in tandem with irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia or autoimmune disease. Conventional treatments can be helpful in patients with OAB, while less so for patients with IC/PBS and UI
