This presentation will introduce participants to the ease of integrating Ericksonian hypnotherapeutic approaches in healthcare. Basic principles such as the utilization approach, direct and indirect suggestions, pacing, leading, reframing, conversational inductions, therapeutic storytelling and metaphors will be described with case illustrations and opportunities for experiential practice. Emphasis will be on acute and chronic pain management, stress management and health promotion for children and adults.
