According to the Kauffman Foundation, seven out of ten students want to start their own companies and a college education appears to accelerate entrepreneurship. This study examines the timely topic of entrepreneurship education through an intra-personal, transformation model. Key factors including innovativeness, emotional commitment, applied training, and new business creation are posed as correlates in a learner-centered development model. Faculty may apply the empirically based model in the development of their entrepreneurship programs.
