Description:

Gain a better understanding of under car and under hood systems.  What will be necessary to repair steering, suspension, brake, driveline, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, climate control, engine management and many other systems after a collision?  Understand the potential for damage and learn methods to assess the damage during the inspection and estimating process.

Ken Kempfer Educator Fox Valley Technical College Appleton WI United States   Ken has paid his dues as auto mechanic and sales person in the 70’s and 80’s. He has degrees in Automotive from Madison Area Technical College and a Bachelor and Master’s from the University of Wisconsin Stout in Technical Education. Since 1985 Ken has been an instructor/coordinator/team leader, Dean of Transportation and Agriculture Technology. Now he has returned to the classroom once again at Fox Valley Technical College as Department Chair of Transportation and Business & Industry instructor. Recently Ken was selected Instructor of the Year in the Northeast Region by the Inter-Industry Conference of Auto Collision Repair.
