Description: |
It’s about the people. Often the most significant change that must accompany the implementation of a Lean Enterprise is the culture change. Lean Enterprise implementation requires new roles and new perspectives on the way work is done. In every Lean Enterprise implementation it is the people that must change their perspective on the work they do and how it is done. This reality touches everyone and is often the main reason for failure when companies implement Lean. Planning for the culture shift and keeping everyone on board during the transition is often the tougher part of managing the implementation of Lean.
This class will give you insight into what it takes to manage the Lean culture change. You will leave this class prepared to build and manage the people part of the Lean Enterprise implementation. Participants will have tools to assess the current company culture, develop interventions unique to their company situation and keep track of progress during the transition to Lean. |
