Shawn Collins worked 26 years as an ASE Master Collision Technician. Currently he is a Collision Industry Specialist for AAA Auto Salvage in Rosemount MN. He has been an I-CAR instructor for 16 years, and is qualified to instruct more than 40 programs. He started as a committee member in 1989 and received the I-CAR instructor of the year award in 2009. He has been an I-CAR pilot class instructor and consultant for new class development. He is an I-CAR Welding Qualification Test Administrator for both steel and aluminum welding. He has been a consultant/coach for VeriFacts Automotive Inc. for three years. He has served on advisory committees for AASP/MN and local Technical Colleges and has been a Skills USA contest judge for ten years. He has been a consultant and spokesperson for ALLDATA Collision for three years. He is a frequent speaker at industry events such as NACE, AASP and ARA conventions. |
