From the barely visible to the unmistakable, oral cancer continues to have the least improvement in diagnosis and prognosis compared to almost all other cancers. Numerous case illustrations will facilitate the discussion of causes, diagnosis and treatment. Considerations for diagnostic instruments and technologies, as well as saliva markers, will be presented. The emergence of HPV associated oropharyngeal cancers will be highlighted. SCC, BCC, verrucous CA, mucoepidermoid CA, Adenoid Cystic CA, Kaposis sarcoma, lymphoma, melanoma and metastitic malignancy cases will be highlighted.
