This course is designed for dental practices that currently accept or are considering accepting patients covered by third-party payers, including indemnity, PPO, EPO, PLHSO, HMO and so-called DMOs. Attendees will become exposed to standard contract language contained in third-party payer contracts, as well as nuances that dental practices should be aware of. Upon completion of this course, attendees will be well-versed in knowing their rights as a provider of services and recourse concerning reimbursement. The provider also should be better equipped for negotiating with third-party payers.
