Surgical anatomy of the maxilla and mandible as organs will be presented with emphasis on anatomical landmarks of surgical importance, arterial blood supply, venous and lymphatic drainage, innervation and interpretation of CT scan images. Maxillary sinus anatomy, physiology, pathology and imaging will be presented. Evidence-based practice of bone augmentation of atrophied alveolar bones by allogeneic and autogenic bone blocks will be discussed.
