The soon-to-be released NFPA 350, Guide for Safe Confined Space Entry and Work, has been developed to supplement requirements and to address gaps that exist in other confined space standards and regulations. The document will provide guidance on how to perform tasks required by these other standards such as hazard identification and control, gas monitoring, rescue, ventilation and training. The presentation will also discuss the document's use of pre-evaluation checklists and permits to improve confined space entry safety.
